Any pcos users use metformin? Success stories?

My Dr has prescribed metformin to assist my husband & I. I have pcos and severe endometriosis. Due to these issues, we've been trying for 4 years with no success. I will start taking it next week. Any success stories? Pros and cons? Thanks in advance, ladies.

I was taking Metformin for almost two months before my fiance said no kids. October 29th, in a drunken fit,  I threw everything out. Just found out I'm pregnant. 
The cons was the constant frickin nausea and appetite taken away. 
The pros were the weight loss and bigger boobies and butt. :)

Take it at night if you can... that helped with the nausea.  First month or two can be rough in regards to side effects, but it evens out.
 
Avoid carbs, eat smaller meals more often throughout the day, and drink A LOT of water.  It REALLY helps.
 
I am now 29 weeks after 2 years on metformin to regulate my monthly and only 1 IUI (with the help of Clomid, Follistim, and Lupron Trigger).  Whew!
 
Other friends conceived with JUST the metformin.
