I see a lot a of women posting about having c- sections. I see a few having them because they are medically needed which is understanding. I see a lot of you having them because you selected either because you want to have your babies before your actual due date or because u don't want to go through the labor and pushing process. I was wondering if your Dr. went over the pros and con's of a c-section. The fact that c-sections are not as safe as you think they are unless needed in a emergency situation u have a higher risk of complications and the healing process is a lot worse than healing from vaginal birth and u have to be careful with infection, it is more reasons to not have one unless really needed but I will leave it to u. Just a little input maybe look in to it more. The only reason why doctors jump to a yes on c-sections is because they get paid top dollar for performing surgeries esp. If you don't question them they will jump right on it. But if you have a doctor that is not just in it for the money they will talk you out of it and tell you the con's of having one and pro's of not. I had a great set of doctors and they always guided me away from a c-section and did everything to prevent one always gave me the pros and con's even during labor my doctor insisted we will not have a c-section unless we are in a emergency situation.
