I can't find any contriception that works for me. The Depo made me fat ! Also I had my period for 2/3 weeks straight. My old pill made me have my period for 10 days straight.. the bar my doctor said would do the same as the depo. Now my new pill makes me fucking crazy ! I either want to kill someone, cry in a corner or I'm a cheery fucker.. I definitely don't know what to do 😩 help anyone ?

The copper IUD has no hormones, but your uterus has to be big enough for it.

Oh I'm not saying pregnancy isn't possible with it, just a side effect can be a delay in the return of fertility. But obviously information given is completely different everywhere! 😊 best bet is speaking to your own family practice workers! All I know is the advice given out in my practice area!

Are proteins that a specifically designed to break down. It has no effect on ovulation and once removed, pregnancy is possible. Complications are rare

I have had the Mirena IUD for 3 years now, no weight gain or bad side effects, and no periods for the last 2 1/2 years! Getting it out soon and my OBGYN said once it's out I could get pregnant right away! I love it and will definitely get it again after I have one more child :D

Amazing isn't it! 😁 I absolutely loved mine! The first contraceptive that hasn't given me horrendous side effects!

I had the Mirena coil (hormone IUD) for over a year, as someone who has struggled with hormonal side effects from all other contraceptives I've tried (implant made me lactate, gave me headaches I now have to have medication for, made me gain 10kg in 3 weeks, and made me bleed constantly) it worked amazingly! Stopped my periods and I got minimal side effects! However contraceptives very much work on individual basis and side effects vary for everyone. The benefit of the mirena is that it can remain in for up to 5 years, and compared to otheR contraceptives it delivers a very minimal amount of hormones to the body. Always worth having a good long chat with a family practice nurse/doctor/practitioner about available options!

I had the same problem with the depo (well the period part not gaining weight part) and when I brought it up to the doctor she told me that that wasn't a side effect like I was making it up.

ugh! I hate that when I tried to tell them I gained weight because of the shot they told me it wasn't likely. uhm I'm pretty damn sure I know my body better than they do! I hate that!

Haven't had any pregnancy symptoms, but my period came a week early last month but all months before that I started around the 14th or 15th. And I haven't started my period yet. But I've taken two pregnancy tests one yesterday and one the day before at diff times. They were negative
