swollen mouth??

Guys! Ya girl needs some serious help:)) my boyfriend got braces on a week or two ago and today was the first time we made out with them but my lip is so swollen and the mucas membrane( inside of my mouth) is like, hanging over my teeth! If anyone has any ideas on what to do or how to fix this I'd love the advice:))

I would tone down the making out, I dated a guy with braces and I never cut up my mouth like that with him! Occasionally I would scrape my tongue but that was about it. Maybe take it a little easier next time.

Do u suck on his teeth or what?? I had braces for a year n made out never did a lip touch my bracket other than my own lips.. How the heck did that happen girl??

Wow!!!! All this years as a dental assistant and this is first time I heard something like that. I also have braces before, try to be more smooth, softer, delicate. I guess

The metal from his brackets my have scratched the inside of your lips without you feeling it and they may be healing

You could be allergic to something in/on the braces. If he has bands or colors, they might have latex.
