symptoms?

So I was diagnosed about 6 months during my first outbreak. I was prescribed valtrex which I just started taking yesterday because of early symptoms (from what I've read). I know everyone is different, but just curious as far as the tingling feeling? Is this something that can happen all over the body, or does it just focus on groin area?
