I can't believe what I read on a page I follow. I get that her purchase is for their future child but if she "works so hard" and they have their own separate accounts then she should be able to buy those outfits with her own money. Not be sneaky and charge it to her husband's account.... I'm sorry but that's really disrespectful to do to your spouse.....

I don't like lying and moreover being sneaky and having hidden agendas. I lose trust and respect for people who do that.

My husband gives me money almost everyday for whatever. Groceries, gas, zoo, shopping..whatever is on the agenda that day. If i dont spend it and he ask the next day if i need money, i tell him i dont have any left so he'll give me more.

I am a compulsive pet buyer. I go for dog food and end up coming home with mice or an entire aquarium. I try and hide it from him, when he finds out i have it i tell him ive had it for awhile "babe, i showed him/her to you like a month ago. I cant believe you dont remember." Or i tell him he told me i could get it (somehow that actually works lol).

If they have separate accounts then she needs to not touch his, I don't see how spending money behind his back from his account could help him stop drinking.... if anything it will probably make him drink more since he'll know his wife is a liar with a hidden agenda for her own gain.... wow she's a great example of what not to do in a marriage!!
