Baby shower

When is too soon to have a baby shower?! I'm due late May early June. I'm 17 weeks now and already know the gender. I'm wanting to do it about 25 weeks just because that way I'm not going to be overly pregnant and feel like a whale, and it'll give us plenty of time to get anything we didn't get. Or is that too early?!
