Measuring 2 weeks ahead ?!

Question

Came from the doctor today and I'm 27 +5 ... but she's measuring @ 30 weeks !! Does that mean she will just be big or is she goina come early ?! I should've asked but didn't even realize until after I left the doctor office ! Can someone inform me ? Has anyone else measured ahead ?

I've been measuring a few weeks ahead since around the same time as you I'm now 35 weeks. It's not necessarily the baby measuring big, it's your uterus. Doesn't mean baby will come early. X

With my daughter I always measured 6 weeks ahead. She came at 39weeks and was 7lbs 10oz. Many things can affect the reason you measure bigger your weight, baby's position, fluid.

I consistently measured one week ahead and ended up going past due and delivered at 41+1, he was estimated to be 9-10lbs by that point and he was only 7.4lbs and 20 1/2".

I'm measuring two weeks ahead  midwife said that is could be because there measuring everything not just baby

Yeah same happened to me, my baby's head was measuring 9 weeks instead of 8 (ouch for later! I thought!) my doctor even mentioned my baby had a big head haha! He told me not to worry, so I didn't and next check up he was ok! 👌🏻
