Before you had common labor signs, did you KNOW you were going to give birth that day?

I sometimes hear women say that they just knew, or they felt off. Did you know you were going to give birth the day you gave birth before your common labor signs occurred (contractions, water breaking, other)?

I thought it was Braxton hicks and once they kept getting stronger every so often I knew I was in labor I didn't tell anyone so I could go eat Chinese food. Then I was like hey I've been in labor this whole time and it's actually starting to hurt now. 🍛😂

My labor started with contractions, but I thought they were just Braxton hicks. After 10 hours of cramping and them not being the same time apart, we just went. We got to the hospital and I was dilated to a 9 1/2!

Nope. I woke up, was just hanging in bed, playing on my phone, and bam. Contractions started

I did know I was going to be in active labor that afternoon but the morning that my water broke I felt very off. Never knew that that day was the day until my water broke later that afternoon.

I had no idea I was going to give birth the day it happened. My husband and I enjoyed a perfectly pleasant weekend and I fully expected to go to work Monday morning. But when Monday morning came I got up at 5:00 am to use the bathroom and - surprise! My water broke! I was 37w6d. My son is now four and a half years old. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant with another boy and I'm scheduled for a c-section on 1/17, but I'm very curious to see if I go into labor before then!
