test was negative at 11DPO AF due in 3 days could I still be pregnant?

So my hubby and I are currently ttc for our first but this month I feel like we may have missed the boat. From what eve said, I would've been on my 2nd to last day of ovulation. I've been having a few symptoms of possible pregnancy but I took a test this morning and it was a straight out negative. I'm hoping that the symptoms I've been having arent just in my head as I'm really wanting a baby but was a bit discouraged when I took a negative test this morning. Any advice?
