anyone ??

The other day I was having contractions went to labor and delivery and they also caught the contractions on the monitor they checked me and said I was closed but SOFT so they marked down pelvic rest and to not have any sex for a week because it is very important to keep baby in this week . The next day I starting having pain and pressure pushing down in my pelvic area , I didn't want to go back in .. I am now 35 weeks & 2 days , but according to my ob I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead but they haven't changed my due date or anything .. does this mean baby could be coming soon soon or why would the docs at L&D say that .. around this time with my last pregnancy I was still hard firm and closed even days before my due date .. just wondering !
