Products for breastfeeding FTM

Hi I am a first time mom and I plan to breast feed for at least 6 months or as long as I am able. I heard that you need to put baby straight on the breast for a least a month to establish their latching and your milk supply. Other than that I hope to switch to bottle filled with breastmilk as soon as possible. I need to know what kind of products associated with breastfeeding did you use and which ones would you recommend. I would like to get everything soon as I am due in March and I can always return things. Please include your favorite pumps, creams, gels, nursing pads, bottles, and anything you think a new mother needs for feeding. Thank you.
