Trying to get pregnant

Ok..... me and my boyfriend have been trying to have another baby for almost a year. I've gone to the doctor to make sure everything is working properly. Him on the other hand. He BELIEVES he knows it all(LOL) and won't go see a doctor. We've had 1 miscarriage, and another false positive. But now I've about 9 days late. I've made a doctors appointment because I'm thinking to myself, what if we've finally made it happen... well of course I could handle waiting until Friday December 23 to go see my doctor and We bought a test. Decided to test this morning, and its negative. 🙁😢 but he claims he can see another line, but I don't at all. It clearly says negative.
