why do people ask serious questions on this?

I know this is a group for people to share things but I think it's really silly and careless when people ask such concerning questions when they are pregnant surely if your that worried you should be going to the hospital or ringing your doctor?

Well some ask while they are waiting to actually get into their doctor. Or just maybe they have been to the doctors but are waiting for results of something and want some reassurance from someone who has been through whatever it is. Or possibly because they are not sure if it is something they should be worried about or not because they are a FTM. I mean that's kinda what this app is for, to talk/connect/ask/share with others. Right?

I'm aware there's first time mums anol looking for reassurance I used this too with my first and asked a lot of questions but if it was really serious I used my doctor midwife etc. No harm not getting at people who want reassurance it's good to feel more calm about something but when it comes to a human life inside you why take chances of asking questions if your not planning on seein your doctor etc
