I like a guy

I'm 15 turning 16 in 2 weeks and he's 17 turning 18 in February... I really like him but I'm scared that when he turns 18 everybody is gonna freak out that I'll be 16 still. We're not dating technically we're just talking and we've always been good friends before we started talking... idk he's just so perfect and I don't want out ages to mess things up for us...

1) Should I hurry and get things official? 2)Should I leave him before he leaves me? 3)Should I talk to him about my fear? What should I do? Or

4) am I worried for nothing?
