I am breastfeeding but not producing so much.. help!?

I was wondering if there are any suggestions to increase my breast milk because I cannot even pump a whole bottle yet and my baby girl is a month now. In the beginning she was loosing weight and doctor suggested I supplement her on top of breastfeeding. I honestly feel like I am failing because I cannot produce enough milk for her and the fact she lost weight due to not enough milk. I just want what's best for my baby girl and I want to breastfeed exclusively without the formula but seems like I have to continue to do both... I just feel so down that my milk production is so slow compared to some mothers. 😞😞

Breastfeeding is supply and demand. When you supplement, don't skip pumping. Cut back in the supplementing also. When it's time to feed, give her breast. I'd pump/feed every 3 hours that way it tells your body to make more milk. Empty your breast also, so if you feed just pump after to see if you can get anything out. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and eating oatmeal (it helps milk supply). Get in contact with a lactation consultant ASAP. You can do it! It will be hard work but it's worth it :)

Nurse nurse nurse! I had the same problem, so I took two days and was basically just a buffet for my girl. If she cried, I fed her, no question. I let her eat as long as she wanted, I switched sides multiple times in one feeding, etc. I did all the other stuff recommended, pumping after every feeding, fenugreek, oatmeal, waking for feedings, but this nurse-a-thon was the only thing that produced results. Good luck! It's so so hard, but you're doing the best you can!

What you pump has no comparison to what baby drinks. Most ladies don't get a let down from a pump. You can try pumping the other breast while baby is feeding and you'll likely get alot more milk 😊

What Crystal said! Often supplementing along with breastfeeding can be a dead end trap a lot of women fall into if not done right.
I was told to feed baby every 2 hours during the day and 3 hours at night to keep up supply and make sure baby gains enough weight.

I've heard of mothers milk tea as well - I haven't tried it myself but apparently it helps with milk production. Good luck! ☺

Feed from the breast as much as possible. Once your daughter feeds and is dobe then pump. You can also try Mother's Milk Tea, Fenugreek, Gatorade, Power Pumping, lactation cookies and Ovaltine.

Water water water. Drink until you feel like you will float away. Drink Gatorade to replenish electrolytes. I take lactation plus by honest company. And eat oatmeal. Fennel oil helps too but be sure to do ten days on yen days off with the oils.  And power pumping is your best friend.
