Back pain?

I'm currently having some bad back pain. 
Have any of you asked your ob if Bengay is safe to use?

I've been using ice packs... Rice packs too that you microwave for heat. Works wonders! Also hot showers with the head directly where it hurts. I was told not to use Icy-hot packs or creams.

I've been using a hot water bottle on my back and sleeping on my side, it helps a lot x
