Belly tattoos?

Question

Any mommies have belly tattoos or hip tattoos? Everyone keeps telling me my tattoo is going to be ugly and deformed after I have my baby because it's gonna be stretched out. Not sure if this is true or not 🤔 I'll post a pic of mine pre bump and now for reference. I'm 21w

Don't worry about what others say. No one knows how you will be after baby. You may be a one of those lucky ones that bounce right back. Your tattoo will do what you belly does. If you bounce back so will you tattoo, even if it takes some time to get back to the size you were before. If you are a little soft then so will your tattoo. Just enjoy being pregnant. Everyone has a comment or opinion.

I have lower hip and I've noticed no change there but my hip hasn't stretched like my belly has :)

I think it depends on the elasticity a person has. My sister has a tattoo in the same spot you do and her first pregnancy ruined it. But with me I have a stomach tat as well and with my first pregnancy it didn't stretch or anything. Hopefully this pregnancy won't ruin it.

I'm tiny was 92 when I got pregnant with my first and gained 50 pounds and my side tattoo never got messed up,just depends on the person I guess!

I feel like everyones body is different so it just depends. My sister was super super tiny when she got pregnant with twins (85lbs and just an overall tiny human) and her stomach tattoos are pretty messed up. But i mean, what do you expect? If your tiny like that then youre going to stretch a lot. You might too, but like i said everyones body is different.
