should i just walk away?

So i met this guy online about a year an a half ago and we met in person last christmas, back then we were just friends and stuff and didn't think anything outside a friendship. We became really close throughout this year, texting everyday, all day long, and since i live in another country we would facetime every two weeks or so. We treated each other like bf and gf but never made it official, he even asked me if i wanted to meet his parents but i thought he was kiding so i didn't mind it. I came back to where he lives for christmas again since i have family here and i thought he would be dying to see me and spend time together. I've been here for a week and i have only seen him once and it was because i made the move to hang out. I am dying to see him but i wish he would also show interest in seeing me just like i do. He keeps being the same, texting me and talking everyday so that part hasn't changed, and also said he loved me when i saw him. I don't understand why won't he be a little bit more enthusiastic about me being here, am i making a huge deal out of it? I think i am but my family says he might have a gf here but he has never posted any pics with a girl whatsoever or anything like that. What should i do?
