I don't go anywhere when my child is sick, if it's a runny nose or something mild than that's fine, but if they are miserable I always stay put unless we absolutely have to go somewhere. My brother and sister in law drag their sick kids everywhere and it drives me crazy, the kids will be lethargic and not eating and ask to go home 20 times but they never take them home until they are ready to go. Not only do I feel bad for their kids, but they are also spreading their germs everywhere!

I get so mad bc whenever I go to my MILs house my SIL dumps her sick kids off and then my kids get sick. Keep your kids home if they are sick and we will see you next time.

Probably not unless it's a special occasion or something. Plus my MIL lives almost 2 hours away so that's a factor. And if she just wants you to come so she can see the baby it's pointless because when mine is sick I will not be passing her around like a trophy-babies need rest when they're sick just like anyone else.
