what do you think out you into labor?

I'm really trying to have my sweet baby boy by Christmas....I know every momma credits something for sending them into labor, what did it for you?

I was 5cm dilated at my sweep midday Weds. Went home and contractions slowed from 7mins to 20 during the evening. Took the dog for a short walk with my husband at about 9pm. Went to bed and then 2mins 2mins 2mins holy shit love! Get the car!!

Castor oil. I only took 1 oz straight and an hour later I was having diarrhea. No vomiting though. Within 3 hours I was in active labor and no more diarrhea. I was also 41 +5 so I was trying not to get induced. I had her 8 hours later. But I was also dilated like 3 cm and having irregular contractions the few days before. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're overdue. It makes some people extremely sick and dehydrated. My midwife recommended it.

With my first, I walked up and down the stairs about 10 times in a row.  No idea if that did it or not.  But my water broke that night and I had her the next day.  I wasn't dilated any more than when I had my appointment. 
With my second I ran with my daughter to church about 0.3miles away.  Three nights later my water broke, no contractions but leaking water all day while my doula tried getting me to contract for 12 hours.  Finally went in at my midwife's insistence for pitocin.  Wasn't dilated any further than at my last appointment again.  
I've been studying yoga and they say the low squat is the best way to induce labor and not to do it between weeks 34 and 37. I plan on trying that this time around and hoping and praying I don't need pitocin's help this time.  If my pregnancy dreams are any indication, I think this time I'll be able to make it through a natural birth and everything all on my own.

Time.
I had preterm contractions at 30 weeks and was dilated and they didn't expect me to last long.
At 38 got contractions again and was effaced, got a sweep and lost the mucous plug and was told anytime now.
Did a bunch of things, used to walk and go up and down the stairs, ate spicy food, a mixture of cinnamon, ginger and some other spices (kind of like chai), pineapple, sex, nipple stimulation. Would get a ton of contractions and was spotting but kept being sent back home.
On 39w3d, I said f*** it. He can come whenever he wants. I'm sick of putting myself in pain and nothing happening. Texted my friends to make plans for the following day. Went into active labor that night and had him the following day.

I had a membrane sweep the day I went into labor. When the doctor checked my cervix and did the sweep she said my water bag was so low so I think it helped pushed me into labor
