thyroid problems stopping me conceiving?

I have an under active thyroid and am on thyroxine. My fiancé and I have been trying for over a year and still no pregnancy. 
I'm just wondering if anyone else has been affected by thyroid problems too? I know it could be something else, I'm just curious. Thanks.

Hashimoto's disease ( what yours is ) is known to sometimes cause fertility troubles. However forums online are full of women with Hashimoto's who have conceived and have more than one kid even.

I wouldn't worry about it too much because you'd TSH levels are highly affected by stress and you'd only do more damage by worrying about this.

Also I think something important to consider is that gettin pregnant in general is not as easy as people make it seem. For most people it takes a good amount of months, often over a year to conceive.

I say give it another few months but really monitor your fertility window and don't expect to just do it randomly a few times a month and then to end up pregnant.
