Would you stay in your job?

So I'm a registered veterinary technician. I love my job. I love my boss. I absolutely love the hours (I work 8am-12pm) so lots of time with my kiddies. But I HATE all of my coworkers. I mean I like 1 of them but we barely work together. Im disrespected, verbally abused, ridiculed....you name it. I'm due to go back from Mat leave in June and I'm really torn. I'm not sure if I should go back or try finding another job.

You should talk to your boss about it.. and if it doesn't stop then you should tell her it's not working out and quit.

I would stay and maybe have a word with your boss so they can have a general meeting about respecting one another or something. If anything just ignore them and kick ass at what you do-nothing will piss them off more than seeing you do better than them.

Keep the job, report the behavior, and stick up for yourself. People will treat you like crap anywhere you go unless you teach them how to treat you. Be professional but firm. Adults are just larger versions of children, you have to train them how to behave a lot of the time.

Oh my, your post sounds exactly like something I wanted to write! I'm also a Certified Veterinary Technician. I'm on the verge of crying every day because I have to go back there next month; I'm currently on maternity leave. I should've gone back to work 2 weeks ago but I asked for an extension. The Co workers that I like keep telling me horror stories and how its gotten so much worse there with the nit picking and verbal abuse. I REALLY DON'T want to go back and I wish I had another alternative. Since I'm in the same position I really don't have any advice as I'm stuck going back. But just wanted to let you know that there is someone else going thru the same exact issue as you right now😕 Good luck.

If your boss is really that great and you love your job I would talk to her and see what she thinks. I mean 8-12 doing what you love, girl that's really hard to beat. I would try to make it work.
