Can BV or yeast infection cause spotting?

I had a MC at the beginning of November and it was pretty heavy bleeding and some cramps.. Now I'm spotting, but it's a bright red color, nowhere near as heavy as I was during my MC, it's not even getting on my panties or anything, so could it be from bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection? or just normal spotting? I'm also having some mild cramping, just really praying I'm not having another MC...
