AF a week late, but negative pregnancy tests!

I'm officially a week late. I only have mild cramping occasionally and very sore breasts. But I have negative pregnancy tests! I'm usually never ever late. I'm very regular. I'm not sure when I should make a doctors appointment or if I should at all. I just want to make sure everything is ok! Anyone have any advice?
