Does birth control help reduce acne ?

Sometimes! I think mine got worse when I got my birth control impant put in but now 2 months later I haven't had any major break outs!! :)

I never really had acne, just some minor breakouts but the BCP I was on stopped that completely which was nice, but it was also one of the marketed effects of the pill I was on; as well as reduced cramping and bloating... but the one I was on yasmin?  Is also more likely to give you clots.

It can for some but it never helped me in my adolescence.

I've always had acne and my birth control really helps keep it under control. I think depends on how bad your acne is and what kind of birth control you get on

I never had problems with acne when i was on BC. Best feeling ever!

It helped me a lot. But I have been off birth control for 9 months & my acne has gotten bad. But clearisl face wash helps out alot!

I've never had acne but I'd get one or two around my period and the birth control took care of that.

It helped mine at first, I didn't have much to begin with, but after I went off of it that's when my acne started breaking out a lot.
