How far along were you when you had your baby shower?

I'm planning on having my baby shower literally one month before my due date. But I keep hearing it's too close I shouldn't.
And then if I plan it earlier people tell me it's too early. I'm like OMGGG 
I'm just trying to get an understanding of typically when women have their baby showers

I'll be 32 weeks at mine! Originally I had it planned for 36 weeks but I kept stressing about it, and it gives me more time to buy anything that wasn't bought on our registry.

I had mine at 33 weeks. It is perfect time you still can move around and you still have time to get whatever you didnt get at the shower.

Mine was planned for 26 weeks and of course my little stinker tried to come early that week. So the shower was cancelled.

I had mine @ 27 weeks & I'm so glad I did, I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow & I am so uncomfortable & so tired I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it if I had waited, also we only got a few things off our registry so now these next few weeks I can purchase the things we still really need, my stepson was born a month early before they'd had a chance to have a baby shower or buy big things like the car seat & stroller so I know my hubby wants to be more on top of things w/ our baby girl :)

I'm due April 26th but having it the last weekend of February due to march being to busy with work and everything I'll be 32 weeks

Mine will be at 32 weeks. I wanted to have mine a when I was about 28 weeks but everyone said it was too early.

One month before is too late. I had mine at 30 weeks. Gives you time to shop for things you didn't get as gifts. Also my son came early at 35 weeks so I was glad I had the shower when I did.
