**UPDATE** So worried about my sister.

Lydia

My sister is 26 weeks pregnant today and her water broke. She has been bleeding for the last 2 weeks and has been on strict bed rest. Dr did a bunch of tests and ultrasounds and they couldn't figure out what was causing the bleeding for certain. Though, they ruled out a lot of stuff, they thought she had placental abruption. It's been a worrisome 2 weeks so far.

At this time they are waiting to see if she is stable enough to life flight out to the big city (small town here that can't medically handle a baby born at 26 weeks). Family and I are waiting for news of what's happening and we are all so worried for her and her baby.

Please keep her in your prayers tonight.

**UPDATE**

So, my sister was sent to the city and they were able to stop the contractions she was having. The stabilized her and monitored baby. She was able to keep baby in for 2 more weeks. January 11th there were issues and they had to do an emergency c-section. Baby boy was born weighing 2lbs 15 oz and 14 1/2 inches long. He lived thanks to an amazing nurse who jumped in when things started getting crazy. He is in the nicu but is doing amazing! He was born at 28 weeks 3 days. He is breathing on his own and has quite a strong willed personality so far. He is getting breast milk through a feeding tube and is doing so good with it that they upped the amount he was getting. Technology and medicine are so amazing. Thank you to everyone who said a little prayer for them.
