Weird pains?

So I'm 33 weeks and I've been having this weird pain in my stomach, this is my child and it doesn't feel like contractions, it's more like a sharp pain mixed with loads of pressure, kinda like a gas pain but it runs through my stomach and then stops. I know what I'm explaining kinda sounds like contractions but it's different, is it possible for my contractions to feel completely different than the first two times? Please don't respond with call your doctor or go to er because that's not what I'm asking!!
