What constitutes cheating?

I think we can all agree that sleeping with someone else is cheating but what else do you consider cheating?

Is thinking cheating? If your boyfriend finds some other girl cute? If he likes someone else?

For me the cheating doesn't lie in the action per se, but in the nature of betrayal. If you've made a physical or emotional commitment to someone, and you go out and break that promise you made - that's cheating.

If he finds someone else attractive no it's not cheating. it might hurt to hear outloud but no. it's not. there are many attractive people in this world. now if he likes a person yeah i'd say he needs to figure his life out before y'all get serious, but that's something you can't control. obviously you can leave him, but idk the situation.

The mind wanders but i'd say flirting is cheating, and anything beyond that is as well. simply talking to someone isn't, just the way you do it might be.

I don't think finding other people attractive is cheating. But if you're thinking about them all the time or flirting I think it comes close and could open the door to cheating. It's really between you and your so to establish though. If there is anything me and my husband are uncomfortable with we let each other know and respect if the other is worried. Some people don't mind harmless flirting but People like me and hubby do so you should talk to him if you are feeling insecure about something he's doing

I never used to consider social media a huge deal, but since we actually met on social media and he got my attention by likening all of my photos in one go and then striking up a conversation via messanger, I now see it as something more serious! So personally I'd get really put off if he was to be liking other females photos because I see that as something he used to catch my attention so ofcourse I don't want him to be seeking other girls attention! however I know a lot of guys don't use likes, comments, follow and adds this way, that's just more of a personal preference!

He doesn't watch porn any more either. Because he doesn't need it but if he did I'd probably have a problem with it. He doesn't need random women on a screen to please him we're together every day 😂👋🏼 he wants that kinda business he can come right here

I mean I'm a pretty open person so talking about "oh hey I think Scarlett Johansson is sexy that's no big deal". And I also find master bating not a big deal. But when it involves anothe human being even looking at one in a sexual way is cheating. Because in the Bible it talks about how it's better to pluck your own eye out then for your whole body going to hell. Which i take personally. If you are committed with someone then you are with THEM. If you want someone else or if you feel like you need to sneak around and talk to someone else then be with them. I'll happily move on

Other than the sleeping with someone thing you mentioned, none of the rest are cheating. It's natural to have attractions to other people while you're in a relationship.  The cheating part comes when you take action.

Ok, here's one... if porn is ok for your relationship, what about looking at sexy or even clothed photos of his ex he has?
How about searching his exes photos on social media to masturbate to? Or other girls he has met before but not dated?
