It's not hitting. Its simply a punishment to make sure your child doesn't become a self-entitled jerk wad. 

Yes, I understand that there are many many many different ways to discipline your child, but there is no reason to put down or disrespect another mother because of how she wants to raise her child. No two children are alike! What one child responds to, another child might not. I'm so tired of seeing other mothers jump on others because they believe that they are doing it wrong. 

Go ahead and give me your opinions, just like I have you mine. Be respectful. Be decent human beings.
