how to tell if baby is breech?

I feel like I should be able to tell but I can't. Any suggestions on how to tell if baby is breech or not?

Good question, something I was concerned about as well! I don't get any more ultrasounds, all I know is at 20w he was breech. Curious if anyone knows a way to tell without an ultrasound...like kick positioning or something? I'm going to ask my midwife at my next appt.

I have a breached baby ... his kicks are sideways usually and in my bladder constantly 🙄

Not really sure if there is a way without US. But my girl is breech. 
I am 29wks and was told all is good and she can flip at the last minute so don't worry about position right now.

Your doctor should be able to tell from feeling your abdomen. The baby's head feels much larger and rounder than their bottom. I felt kicks low before and after my baby decided to flip breech, so I don't think that kick positions area good indicator. My doctor DID say at this point I will most likely feel when he flips again (I definitely felt it when he went from head down to breech) and that it could even make me feel naseauous since it's such a large movement.

I just had an ultrasound today and dr told me baby is head up feet down but that I shouldn't worry because they usually don't turn into position until a month away from your due date

Your midwife will feel your stomach at routine checks and can tell what way baby is lying. Baby has a long way to go anyway he/she can still move positions right up to labour! I wouldnt worry just now x

They just need to flip before 36 weeks. I'm almost 31 weeks and my doctor said babies this small will continue to change positions because there is enough space.
