lying
I found out this morning my husband lied about paying off a bill.
Its the KAYS credit card in MY name for my wedding band.
Before we start on why the wedding band is in my name, its because i have a unique engagement ring and found the right band at the right time. So instead of waiting (because the band was a discontinued make) i went ahead with the purchase and my husband agreed to pay it off.
Since then, ive paid two payments and finally he said he would take over the remaining payments.
The last payment came in and i told him he needed to handle it, stating my credit would be dinged if he didnt etc.
He needed my social , gave it to him and then he said it was done.
The next bill came in, he takes it nicely from me saying "i dont want you to worry about it. Ill take care of it and dont want you to worry about it"
I rember thinking how sweet and nice that was.
Im cleabing the house and i see the bill, just open it to throw away the envelope. I see it hasnt been paid, the payment has gone up by $65 and the total amount due is $190.
He lied and tried to cover it up. I emailed him at work to confront the situation and he calls to say he meant to but didnt have the money and didnt want me to worry.
Im so angry with him and frustrated. Im more hurt about the lying than the fact he didnt pay it. Were not wealthy by any means, but i thought we had at least trust to hold us together.
Hes gonna pay it now, but im just so frustrated. Not looking to fix just wanting to vent
