am I wrong??

I am 22 weeks pregnant and some days. This pregnancy has been far from easy for me along with constant morning sickness Among other things. Since being pregnant is hard enough for me, I don't work since we are fortunate enough to not need the extra income. My boyfriend thinks since he works everyday, I should be his personal maid. I was talking to him about how it's ridiculous he can't even put his clothes in the dirty clothes bin, and that I have to pick up his clothes off the floor everyday. His response was "what else do you have to do during the day?" Am I in the wrong?

Nope. That's ridiculous. What's next, you should brush his teeth and bathe him because he works and you don't? That's basic things one has to do for oneself, like pick up your clothes. It takes the same energy to throw them in the hamper as to throw them in the floor. Its really inconsiderate especially since a pregnant belly makes it real hard to bend over. My husband works 10 hrs/day and sometimes weekends too. He picks up his clothes. He puts things back where he gets them (like toothbrush, razor, shaving cream), changes the toilet paper roll if need be. Helps me with kids when he gets home from work. He doesn't help me with cleaning, but he isn't dirty and tries to not get things disorganized and takes off his shoes so he wont get the floor dirty. And he does help me cook ocasionally especially during weekends if he doesn't work. If I'm busy he washes his work clothes. And im currently 11 wks pregnant feeling horrible and tired and he is helping me out even more. And he's Mexican, but doesn't have that macho attitude that I should be his maid. Sorry if I went off, but I got really pissed that he expects you to pick up his clothes!!

Well I definitely think any adult should know not to throw dirty laundry on the floor. There's no excuse for it. But I also think someone staying home should do more around the house - there's a middle ground.

I can understand where he's coming from. But I can also understand where you're coming from. I am 14 weeks 2 days, I have had constant morning sickness. We are also fortunate enough to not need to the extra income that comes from me having a job. So I stay home. I sleep in, wake up, eat, and shower. Sometimes I literally don't even feel like showering because I feel like shit. My boyfriend understands this. He has pitched in way more with washing clothes and etc. 
I think your boyfriend is in the wrong because he should be helping you out. You are carrying his child. It's not the easiest thing in the world to do. I think people think pregnancy is just this easy "glowing" 9 months. It's not. Half the time it's hell, but we conquer through it because it's all worth it in the end. 
I think you need to have a calm talk with him
