Progesterone Supplements

So I'm 6 weeks and 6 days (3rd pregnancy) and my doctor said that I have to start progesterone supplements because my body is not producing it on its own. This is the first time this has happened to me. Has anyone else have to deal with this? I'd love some additional insight ❤
