38 weeks heeelp!

Hi!! So im 38 weeks and have this brown mucus discharge since yesterday. I havent been checked by my doctor yet so it cant be that. He told me on monday that i will probably have this baby by 40 or 41 weeks (without checking me ) frustrating. But then this happened, can any of you relate? Im also crampy at times and having contractions but without a pattern. Does this mean labor is near? Thanks in advance 😘
