How do you treat a cold when pregnate?!

Ladies I have been suffer for almost a week. I am doing my best to avoid medicines due to the back and forth doctor reviews. I cannot drink oj due to my gestational diabetes and that is normally my go to. I sleep with a humidifier and I have been lathering myself in Vicks. Any other natural remedies I am missing here?! My head is pounding and I'm a walking snot bucket.
