HELP! uti?!

I woke up this morning and can't empty my bladder. I had a tiny bit of spotting, I've had to say my period was late on here twice already but have still felt like it has been coming soon but nothing. I go to empty my bladder and only a little bit goes out then I get this weird feeling like it's still emptying but nothing's coming out. Dr can't see me til February!!! Does this sound like a uti? And if so what should I do?!
