Mirena

I recently decided to get on hormonal birth control but since I get migraines with aura I cannot use methods with estrogen. (I have a much higher risk of stroke putting those things together!) My best bet is Mirena, IUD that uses progesterone only. I have had a nonhormonal IUD before but it caused some wicked cramps and heavy bleeding. I was wondering if anyone else uses Mirena or other progesterone IUD and what their experiences have been with it before I jump in!
