Ovulation test question

Last month I had a positive opk cycle day 16, I was just monitoring for reference, etc. I'm pretty regular in cycles (29 days been monitoring for 6 months), no ocp's since 2011, DH and I have used barrier method since (boo!) but now are TTC. My question is that does that mean again cycle day 16 of this would be my ovulation day, or do I need to retest to check? If I'm otherwise regular, I'm thinking CD 16 may be my ovulation day.
