bleeding with twins @ 5 weeks
5weeks 6days today.. started with some dark brown spotting 2 days ago, then bright red bleeding yesterday where it was dripping out while going to the bathroom. I went to the ER as soon as that happened and they did a pelvic exam, blood work and sonogram. Sonogram showed 2 gestational sacs but only one showed a yolk sac. I was told this can be normal this early in the pregnancy. The bleeding has significantly slowed down and keeps going from brown to red to brown. Not enough to fill a pad. I haven't had any cramping but some dull pain in my back. I do more blood work tomorrow and again Tuesday to see is HCG levels are increasing or decreasing. Just looking for some words of encouragement. Anyone been through something similar and everything turned out fine?
