What to say when people congrats you after mc

I was 12 weeks pregnant when I lost my baby. I had a lady tell me today she heard I was pregnant which I am 7 weeks but she don't know I lost the first baby and I'm waiting till my next appt to tell people. What should I respond to people?

Maybe just say " where did ya hear that?" And maybe try to change the subject lol. I was like that this time round, and one of my friends was sure i was preg. I just said " not that i know off". Lol wish you a happy and healthy 9 months :)

I MC my first, and now pregnant again. I'm not coming out till I am far in the pregnancy. My mom knows and of course told a few, so I told them to keep it hush until I say I'm ready because I don't feel comfortable.

I just said, "I was, but it just didn't last this time around." And changed the subject. I MC at 10 weeks and several people knew I was preggo. Word of pregnancy spreads much faster than word of a mc and its probably twice as awkward for the other person saying something horrible when they were trying to be excited...
