wrist pain?

Is anyone else having wrist pain? The insides of my wrist bones are sensitive to touch and I can hardly move them in a full circle. I haven't fallen or done anything that would cause them to hurt, I just woke up one day and it slowly started to hurt and get worse by the day.

Omg! Yes!! Me. I have wrist pain in both wrists. I picked up two wrists splints today at my 32 wk check up (for free!). Apparantly, this is very common.

I didn't have carpal tunnel. With my first, I almost lost use of my hands. My bones on the inside of my wrist hurt to touch and I couldn't lift anything. Even a plate of food. Went to ortho and he gave me a shot in my wrist and it was awesome!!! Best decision I've ever made. Mine was what they call "new mom tendinitis"

Absolutely suffering this the last few weeks (at 35w now).  But, I have carpal tunnel so thankfully I had the braces already.  The braces absolutely help, so does staying hydrated.

I had wrist pain with my first, i developed carpal tunnel which is a common side effect to pregnancy. It lasted months after he was born too. Just wear a wrist guard as often as possible.  I know, it sucks!

Yes, only on one wrist though. At first I thought I must have been sleeping on it funny but it's been a couple of weeks now! x

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common occurance in pregnancy. Talk to your Dr about ways you can ease the discomfort  (wraps/splints, ice and heat therapy,  physical therapy etc)

If it's in the space between your thumb and your wrist, then it may be what's called 'mommy thumb' and can be treated with a cortisone shot in the wrist. Apparently the ligaments in your wrists are relaxed due to hormone changes. I had severe pain in both wrists in that area to the point I couldn't put any pressure on my wrists and couldn't lift anything heavier than a plate. I'd check in with your doctor because the injections were a lifesaver for me.

I have had this since like week 20. All the things everyone said helps, especially wearing neutral position wrist brace overnight. Also doing "wrist glide" exercises helps mine. Sorry you are suffering from it too! As though there needed to be one more weird symptom right?
