Feels like I'm falling apart..
Yesterday had bad abdominal pain start. Figured just a pulled muscle, called dr and they said it probably is just a pulled muscle and call back if anything changes or contractions start.
Took a half day from work bc it hurt so bad. Laid on a heating pad for like 12 hours.. took Tylenol a couple of times.
Started not feeling very well, just a general icky feeling. Nauseous but not vomiting. Called the call back service after hours to report the nausea and low temp of 99.4. Fell asleep waiting for my call to be returned. worried SO calls to check in. Take my temp again and it's gone up to 100.6. Notice a slightly sore throat but I've been snoring and sleeping with my mouth open lately and it feels similar to that. Had a crappy night's sleep due to sharp shoulder pain (left side, not right) woke up in tears multiple times. But decided I clearly wasn't in labor (and baby was kicking all night so I knew she was okay too) stop I figured it wasn't worth calling at 2am..
Temp was still 100.3 when I woke up this morning for work. I have to go in bc of the winter storm and holiday weekend I will get ANOTHER write up if I call out (called out on Tuesday to take care of constipation issues and got a lecture for it) but I'm slightly freaking out that this has all started within the last 36 hours. I know pregnancy isn't a comfortable experience but I'm scared the temp and pains are related or warning signs or something else wrong.
So, I'll be going in to work, hopefully only for 30 minutes and by then the office will be open and I can call to be seen (if for nothing but to put my mind at ease) if the ob says everything is normal and fine my next stop will be the chiropractor. But we'll be taking it one hour at a time today..
Sorry to rant but I needed to sort it out from my head.
Eta: called the ob who suggested I call my pcp. We have had 2 cases of pneumonia reported at work, and even though I haven't been in direct contact with those kids it's still on my mind. Got an appointment in about 2 hours
Eta: Lungs are clear! Yay. Pneumonia was really my biggest concern. I'm SO uncomfortable but I did get an inhaler for the shortness of breath when needed. So, my regular dr says it's just a viral respiratory infection. Fever etc should go away within a few days and if not I'll be back for another visit.
