active baby = labor soon?

Question

My baby is super active. Like the most active she has EVER BEEN! Non stop, all day and night. Is she even sleeping?! Can this be a sign labor is soon? 38 weeks along exactly today. Braxton hicks like crazy (some even a little painful).

Yes... I'm anxious, I know! Ya'll are too, admit it 😂. But I want to know what signs to look for that it could be happening any day!

The start of my labor my son was active somewhat in between the contractions. it's true what they say, at least for some, that you will be able to tell the difference from BH and true contractions. Other then that the contractions also came more frequently

I think a sign of labour is when the baby slows down... But don't listen to me - I had to be induced so I have no clue.

I don't think an active baby is a sign, however when I hit 40 weeks my BH got more frequent and uncomfortable. I came to find out when being induced that what I thought were BH were actually contractions!
