wasted test

Hey guys I'm about 10 dpo and just couldn't wait anymore my breasts have been sore and tingling nipples for about a week now. I only had enough pee for a drop, so I was kind of disappointed I wasted a test. The control line showed up after 5 minutes but no second line. Is this an accurate result? My af is due in 6 days and I got the first response 6 days sooner. Thanks.
