Who would you choose?

If you were a dad (50 years old) and your alcoholic sister (no job, doesn't help with anything, lays in bed drunk all day) lives with you but your daughter (me,25) has an 8 month old son and wants you to kick out your worthless sister, would you listen to your daughter ? 
I'm on the verge of not going to see my dad anymore because I'm tired of him allowing his worthless sister to just drink all day (she's 48) and have no job, no nothing. The house is a mess because she doesn't help clean or do anything. 
I get really upset because I want my son to go see his grandpa but I'm gonna stop going over there. It's an unhealthy environment for him. I love my dad so much, he's a great dad. But he lets people take advantage of him 😢

If you dont live there then that's not your decision to make. If you dont want to be around your aunt then meet your dad for lunch or invite him to visit you at your home.

She needs professional help. Not being homeless. He also needs to learn to not enable her. But if she has been drinking awhile just stopping cold turkey can kill her. So, I don't disagree with your dad.

If you don't live there then you don't have the right to demand he kick her out. If you don't think it's a healthy environment for your son then don't bring him over there.

I wouldn't kick my sister out. I would try to get her help. I wouldn't appreciate my daughter trying to make it one or the other either. Both are family and I'm sure he is already in a really hard position and could use support from you.

I wouldn't kick her out. Sounds like she needs and intervention. Start helping with chores, stop being lazy, and go to rehab if her drinking is that bad or else she'll be kicked to the curb. Sounds like a warning would do a lot more good than throwing her out on the streets when she has so many issues already. If she doesn't cooperate, that's when it's time to go. And until she starts doing just that, don't go over there. He's your son, do what's best for him! But making sure your aunt is safe is important too.
