Rib kicks at 28 weeks or later??

Are you guys getting rib kicks at this point? When I went to my midwife appointment the other day I asked her about my anatomy scan and where my placenta was, and she said it was towards the top and front. Later she felt around my tummy and said that baby's head down, so I'm wondering if I'm just feeling her punches and not feeling any kicks up higher because the position of my placenta. Any veteran moms have experience with having your placenta at the top? Did you start feeling rib kicks later on?
