How long do you wait to go get a blood test done for confirmation of pregnancy after you find out?

When do you go get your first ultrasound? Isn't it like 8 weeks?

My first appointment was scheduled for 8 weeks and they didn't do a blood test to confirm pregnancy until I started bleeding to just see how my levels were elevating. I think different offices just have different protocols! Hope this helps! Happy 9 months to you 🤗💕

I got a blood test at exactly 14dpo, which was a few days after my positive digital test. My first appt is scheduled and I will be 7+5.
