VERY IMPORTANT that if you have migraines and or migraines with aura that you tell your doctor this!!!! You should not be taking ANY method with estrogen because it increases your risk of having a stroke!!! No one told me this and I used combo pills for the first 2 years I was on birth control! Estrogen free methods include: iuds (hormonal and not), arm implant, shot, mini pills, any of the barrier methods! Migraines can be hormonal based which means estrogen can actually make them worse. This is straight from my doctor. Please talk to your doctor about your medical history it's very important!
